For those who didn’t learn this from your humble beginnings, this is probably a personal honor, even though I know you may not always make it to the NBA Draft, even though I will always be there.

Bill Curry loves to talk about the game. And he shares many things with you about it. I’ll go ahead and explain. Back when we first met, when Bill was just 15 years old, Bill was at the bottom of his class from high school- where he ended up coaching the school that he grew up in. It was in a small town in the Midwest- and he’d come home to Oklahoma City and go to see his mother, who was already there, so she had his coach at her side. In an instant, he got on our back and we’re proud to say Bill’s the best of both worlds.

We had an enormous amount of respect for Bill and our team- but when Coach Bill called to tell us, you would think that he was going to leave his job, it was pretty serious, but instead of that, we all ended up doing very well. We came through all the way to the second round and were the best. But I’ll never forget his first game. We didn’t quite get any points, especially the first two games. Then the second game came when Bill called to make us lose, but it was the same
