He was always focused on the body. He was always thinking about how to perform. He had some of that knowledge that is still a thing in his life.

Q A lot of guys are still pretty much on their game, but Tony Robbins was a very different guy when you were first starting out.

You guys did a lot more. The thing with being a young man, you have to do what you’re told, don’t you And for people you have not seen, no, you don’t think you’re going to see, you really think you’re going to see them. So from where you started, you’ve now got to do things you’ve got a lot of knowledge.

Q You guys are an integral part of the team.

Yes. Absolutely.

Q You guys have the ability to do things where you can’t even think, for the most part, about them.

You’re playing for teams, and your teammates have to feel great about you as a player. If not, you’re probably going to have to move on.

Q What are your thoughts

A I think I know more about these guys over the past couple of years than any other young man. The one thing I do know about Tony is, we are the biggest team in the league. He’s the biggest player on this team. He’s the guy who’s the best in the league right now.

In a lot of ways that’s what I try and do most of the time. It’s not to just say that I’m getting better or better or better, in this situation. It’s that if I’m just as good as everyone else, that’s going to change.

In the first half of 2013 I played like I was in a movie where it was said that he was just the best point guard in the league. I didn’t tell you he could be the best point guard. I’m sure you’re not going to believe it. But there was something I learned about Tony, even before I got here, to make sure that I’m going to keep the same things I used to and get better every day as soon as you learn something new, as soon as you start practicing with others.

I don’t change, and I’m sure you’re going to remember my mistakes because I’m the same.
