How Do You Structure A Life Coaching Session - Functional Life Coaching

A little bit. I’ll teach you how to build and stay the best you can, and maybe even take your coach to a more positive step of being more creative, and I’ll give you feedback on how you can get better. It’s not so much getting better because you’ve been through so much. It’s more than the things that you did or did not go through. It’s more than what you know. You’re a different person. You can look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you’re not a genius.

As an athlete, you go through different stages and you want to learn from the experience and grow as a coach. How does this work for you

It’s going to be quite different in the coaching world. Some coaches have to sit in a corner and say, I’m not good at this. I need to learn from it. I need to learn to be better. I need to be better for life. But for me it’s not the same as it is for every other coach. It’s like saying, I’m better at this than you, and I want to be better. It means some things, others have to make adjustments. It means you’re going through some change in life that you just had to experience for this to make sense. It means that after a while your skills and personality will get changed, and you’ll figure that out. Once you get to know that, I think it’s pretty easy to get to know them. It’s not the same as when you go through these things over five years. It’s less of a journey. It’s easier, at least compared to what you experienced. If you don’t feel like where you are now, it doesn’t matter what you are. You’re going to stay the same.

The challenge with a coach and all of that kind of guidancethere are a lot of different things to be mindful of and understand and learn from. For myself it goes both ways. I was able to learn from that and I’m grateful to the coach all the way, really appreciative of them, and excited when he gives me some feedback. It’s just so much. It is so good. We’re looking at you.

One of the hardest things you have to do from time to time is try to keep in touch. Some guys can be really good in a few things. You’re really trying to keep in touch and just try to keep in better touch with them.
