Trevor Yeah, a lot of people call it what I do on a salary basis because that’s what it is. Sometimes that means a pay cut. But sometimes that means it means you’re not given a lot of money on that deal. And often that means you get a lot of extra salary when you’re on this team.

You’ve been around this team for so long with these contracts. Were you surprised by how many players on this team weren’t being paid to leave after starting

Trevor I’ve never been on that contract with a team and they never thought it was over. I’ve been a life coach. I’ve coached with Bill Self. I’ve coached with Kevin Love. I’ve coached with guys with Michael Jordan. I’ve coached with all of these guys. It just depends on where you are.

I never thought I was going to be in the league for four years in my career. So the fact that I have a contract like this is going to go down and change my life.

How did it feel to be given one and a half year of coaching time after the Wolves’ first meeting in early October

Trevor I think I got that. I had to make sure that a lot of the players were able to be paid and that they were being paid for the right things. It’s not good.

Did that work for you

Trevor Yeah. I’m going to get paid. You know, it’s just that people are not getting as much from the Wolves as they should. I’m going to get paid. I love the Wolves. I’m not going to keep getting paid because I need to get the most money possible.

Do you have a career in your future

Trevor No, just do it right now. I’m probably going to be an assistant coach. For what I never wanted to, but I’m not really making any money.

Trevor I’m going to call it what it seems at first. Maybe it’s not a whole lot, but I try to go out and do something different. I really want to have the time of my life, and it was great for me to take a shot here and here, and here it comes.
