Being with a family or a family group when I’m on the road, being out there with my friends like the Eagles. For me it’s like having a coach. And I feel safe and good to be playing.

Did you know if you needed a coach after your rookie season There is something about a coach that can’t get enough of you.

I think it’s a big part of the strength and conditioning. I know that guys like myself really like to do that.

You want to be a Hall of Famer with the Eagles. Where do you see your career going in 2017

I feel like I’m going to be here for at least a couple of months and possibly even a couple years.

Do you feel lucky to have the opportunity to be the backup quarterback and starter because you have an open head coach

What do you think of coaching the Cowboys and Titans

I always think about coaching something that I believe is pretty close to winning. That’s one of the things we work on is understanding that our opponents are the top teams on offense.

Do you have a favorite team at OTAs or games

I have a great team in Buffalo called the Bills. If I had coached them, I would have won out. That’s my favorite coach. I will be coaching this team for a couple of months and maybe even a couple years. But I will just focus on the game. It was great to come in and show people that there is this group of guys that can do well.

Why has it taken so long for the Cowboys to take notice of you

I’ve been in the pros and a lot of great quarterbacks and coaches before, but when it comes to a good coach, it’s almost like the last few years.

What is it like being on the NFL’s radar as a former assistant during the first year or two

It’s awesome. I can’t even count how many times I have to show that one guy I knew a couple of years ago. It just has gotten to be such a huge deal with him and so many staff people so much like him.
