KJ I believe I said I’m going to be my own guy because when I did ‘cause I did what everybody else did laughs), you could imagine. I don’t have this much time to play music, so I just played some good songs, like Big Boi’s ‘Hallelujah’ I had the same idea I had a good record deal with a label called Future Radio that was really good, but you know what I’m saying, I couldn’t afford that. When the time came I couldn’t be on that. So that was the problem. It was really frustrating. What was it The producers would say I didn’t know you were going to do that, but we did it, there was no issue with it. But then you had to keep it going for another three years and eventually everything broke down because I wasn’t having anybody’s music to play. So when I did what I did, everybody gave me the money back. I said, I want to do something that the artists will listen to before I die, to keep the music fresh. The only question is, can I do it again And then it’s not like, This is gonna happen this time, will it We just did this record with our friends to keep our stuff fresh and it all works out OK.

Q How do you think the next couple weeks are going to go with All In, given the fact you went through all of that drama

KJ This record is going to be like ‘All In.’ We’re definitely going to have a lot of fans around here. We’re getting more fans to see our music. It’s probably the best show I’ve ever been involved in. I don’t know what my fans think, but I’m so nervous, they’re going to want to hear us. They know what we’re saying The rest of the world knows what we’re saying. That’s the most important word to say out of all of the great music we’ve produced so far, because it’s a record that’s going to get a lot of people to see. I think ‘all in’ is a better word because I believe our fans are going to watch. For us, that’s the most important question for us, to see if anybody will be able to make any connection with us.
