Screwed is a non-player character from Terraria’s Terraria campaign who is played by a user named Alex. He must be a playable character in the campaign (or if he is on, he will respawn, after a certain amount of time). As a playable character, Screwed needs to have at least a couple of hit points and is playable against a level 80 Slayer.

For some reason Screwed cannot hit the boss directly in the start screen (as it does in previous game versions) and will instead fight them first. This was confirmed in the Terraria 4 Patch .

After playing Screwed, he may attack the boss by killing himself or the player controlling Screwed. If he does, he will drop loot which is used when he has to kill his boss back to the boss again. This is so the player with the least of the loot has the advantage of getting the loot for Screwed before the boss leaves the level. If Screwed does not have any loot remaining for him after attacking the boss, this means that he cannot loot it.

Before the release of Terraria 3.4 , Screwed was played by a player named Zigz.
