Kanye West’s Yeezus 2 has come a long way (although he’s just about out of the question on this one). In addition to Kanye’s recent record sales, he also took a break from rap at various points on NME. Perhaps the two greatest artists of all time are actually at ease, but they’re really not that good at it.

This is because they both use various means to create their sound. Their lyrical delivery often gets the better of them and this is one particular example. In this song, he writes

I’m happy with my life it’s just that nothing works out so easily so far.

Now imagine Kanye, writing to someone who sounds like he would be a better rapper if he hadn’t worked as hard as Kanye. He could do anything he wanted As expected, the rapper would do everything he said.

What’s even more remarkable about the song is how little is clear. It was written at the end of November of 2014. It was written after Kanye was diagnosed with prostate cancer while in his hospital room in Dallas, Texas.

The same night, an email was sent to Kanye’s girlfriend, who said that he was in pain. She said, So did you I need help. Tell me what’s wrong.

Kanye quickly responded, saying, I don’t know. I’ve been in all these pain meds for more than a week. We’ve taken a lot. I was supposed to be able to see my doctor yesterday but it just took 5 or 6 hours for her to come over and see me. She’s a little upset, but I think my sister is getting a lot of help. So I will see you soon.

As you can see in the photo, this is a message from one of the producers to Kanye about how bad his cancer was. He then says, Yeeyyyy I think I need some help

It’s important to note that the message was relayed through her email on November 30th, which made it hard to find. As with many MCs, he also felt uncomfortable giving it to her, but it was clear with it that he was willing to help her, and that it didn’t hurt at all. At the time, he also felt like he could feel his family’s emotions.
