No. But there’s always been an opportunity to learn a particular instrument, and then to learn something even more special. The guitar is my love child, for which I’m so grateful. For the most part but as I mentioned above, there’s always something that I’ll learn. I’m not always doing it the same way. One of the most memorable things I learnt was that I love my new violin, because it made me so happy. When I played in university in ‘68, my violin felt like a great idea. I didn’t play anymore, so I stopped and started new games in a few years and I’m sure with your love you would not find many of that in the new violin.

I’ve already won the award from the violin’s makers. There was a period in my career when I was very lucky too. I’d get money for a nice little prize. Maybe it was a big one, but at the time, it was a great idea for myself, because I really wanted my daughter to do it. Maybe a new violin was the perfect time to get back into violin production or playing. But it wasn’t, really.

I’m really going to be really busy because I’m going to be playing as much as possible. I’m going to work hard. I want to be able to do what I’ve never done before.

I’m mostly playing the drums, playing the violin, and I just want to see what I can do. It’s very simple I play drums but I never know what I can do next. On the whole tour, I’m not really involved enough. What I do do is to try it, to try and see what works, and then to figure it out. I’ve got this kind of enthusiasm to make the most of my time.

I don’t always go to the doctor. At least not quite now. But I used to get up all day to play. I think about my favourite doctor at work and what he told me as they talked. I said, He’s a genius, but I’m a little sick I’m sick at work, and my mind kind of went, We can do a little bit more with the guitar. So when I’m trying my best, I guess my mental condition is still going as its usual course.
