A US drone shot down a Syrian army target, killing five soldiers who fled the base.
The drone was shot down by a Russian Sukhoi Su-47 air defence system over Mersin on 26 November.
Syrian state television says it was operated by the Syrian army.
It is thought that no other aircraft were involved in the incident.
