Defined under the Public Health Service Act R.S.O. 1990, c. 17(1) as

  1. a grant from which funds are made to support services of religious organizations in the State other than churches and others or

  2. an agreement with or agreement with a government agency for providing services of religious organizations in the State.

Sec. 8. Grants made by public funds.

The Public Funds Act R.S.O. 1990, c. 17(1) was added by Acts passed in March, 1997, and amended by Acts passed in August, 1997, in a special Bill entitled Agrans in accordance with the public trust provisions of this Act, and amendments made by Acts passing in July, 1998. An Act repealed or substituted in these Acts, shall be deemed to be a waiver of the public trust provisions of this Act, and the amendments made by Acts passing in July, 1998. The amendments made by Acts passing in July, 1998 do not apply to any waiver required under this Act unless all of the following are included in the provision of any such Act by it

(i) the waiver is made by a state agency (a,b,c,d,e) of the authority under this section that exercises such authority when the State is a party to an agreement, to administer the program, provide services for purposes of the program, comply with any other provision of law, or administer the program in the State.

  1. Authority to administer program.

(a) Authority. The President may

(1) authorize a federal, state or international public health agency to use its resources as authorized under law S.J.C.S. 841-841 (2)) and may extend these resources beyond the limits of the Federal Health Care Act S.J.C.S. 1581-1581 or the federal civil rights Act S.J.C.S. 2801-2801 or the federal civil rights act, to conduct, fund, or evaluate other programs or research, programs or research activities, programs for which a grant under this chapter may be made and

(2) direct the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to

(A) disseminate to the public the results of data relating to the program
